ARIAD will consider providing support for Educational Grants, Charitable Donations, and Sponsorships.

Educational Grants

These requests may be made for monetary support for unbiased, balanced, educational programs for the medical, scientific or patient community, including but not limited to continued medical education (CME) and fellowship programs. ARIAD considers requests for educational grants that focus on oncology. Requests outside of this therapeutic area will not be considered. Please note that we cannot award grants directly to healthcare practitioners.

Charitable Contributions

ARIAD considers requests for monetary or product donations that are provided for purely philanthropic reasons to support specific charitable organizations or programs, and for which ARIAD does not receive tangible benefit in return for its support. ARIAD considers requests that have a specific focus on oncology-related issues, services, or events. Requests outside of this therapeutic area will not be considered. Please note that we cannot award charitable donations directly to healthcare practitioners. Charitable donation requests include but are not limited to:

  • Donations to patient advocacy groups for patient education and patient support programs and services
  • Support for young investigators
  • Funding for charity events including runs, walks, and gala events

Sponsorships

ARIAD considers requests for monetary support that fund organizations or programs, while at the same time providing ARIAD a tangible benefit. Examples of Sponsorships include, but are not limited to, sponsoring a medical society meeting in exchange for an opportunity to display corporate materials in a brochure or at an exhibit, or sponsoring a fund raiser in exchange for ARIAD’s name being listed on all tournament T-shirts.

ARIAD is committed to compliance with all laws, rules and regulations applicable to each of the foregoing. All requests for Educational Grants, Charitable Contributions and Sponsorships are subject to the terms of our internal policies and procedures, and undergo careful internal review to ensure compliance. In accordance with applicable laws, certain Educational Grants, Charitable Contributions and Sponsorships involving healthcare practitioners, healthcare organizations and certain other entities in the health care industry may be publically reported.

Please do not submit requests for research funding (i.e. Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs)) or for displays and exhibits through this system. Please refer to http://www.ariad.com/contact for contacts in these other areas.
