Job Title: Research Scientist, Chemical and Process Development
Summary:
We are seeking a team-oriented laboratory scientist with experience in synthetic organic chemistry focusing on process research and the scale-up of chemical processes. Attributes of the successful candidate will include the ability to efficiently execute laboratory experiments, interpret data, and effectively communicate results.
Duties and Responsibilities for Research Scientist I/II, Chemical and Process Development
- Carry out synthetic organic chemistry experiments in process design and optimization
- Effectively utilize modern laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Interact with internal discovery, analytical, quality, and regulatory, groups to facilitate the development of lead compounds
Requirements for Research Scientist I/II, Chemical and Process Development
- B.S. / M.S. in Organic Chemistry
- Good knowledge of organic synthesis and experience with modern analytical and spectroscopic techniques
- 3-5 years industrial experience in process research, or drug substance manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
