Job Title: Manager, Marketing Research
Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support evolving needs of the ARIAD commercial organization.
- Closely collaborate with extended brand team for the following:
- Develop and use of appropriate marketing research to support all deforolimus and pipeline commercialization activities.
- Support all deforolimus, pipeline, and business development forecasting needs to include forecast model development.
- Manage custom and syndicated marketing research projects consistent with business priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, interpret and integrate research data, draw conclusions/implications and translate into business decision recommendations supporting the deforolimus commercialization plan and broader ARIAD business objectives.
- Remain informed about developments in the market as they impact on and apply to deforolimus and ARIAD’s future business objectives.
- Liaise effectively with co-development partner on all aspects of research findings and implications.
- Develop forecast modeling capabilities
- For product launch, develop a performance tracking system, merging all continuous data into streamlined communication tool:
- Assess performance vs. business objectives (dollar volume; market share; pricing; marketing/sales programs. A&P spend, etc.)
- Manage all corresponding marketing research budgets
- Position required up to 30% travel domestically.
Job Requirements:
Experiences Desired:
- Strong analytic skills and use of statistical, multivariate and modeling analyses; prior forecasting model development is required.
- Knowledge of research techniques used to assess positioning, segmentation, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated success in leadership competencies, creative problem solving and team partnership skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written presentation skills.
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required; A Masters level degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years Pharmaceutical/Biotech Marketing Research experience is required.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications is required.
- Oncology and launch brand experience is preferred.
