Job Title: Manager, Quality Assurance
Description:
Reporting to the Director of Quality, this individual will lead, establish, implement and maintain quality assurance programs, procedures, and controls ensuring conformance with domestic and international cGMPs as well as regulatory and industry standards for clinical and commercial pharmaceutical API and pharmaceutical dosage form products. This individual will also provide technical and organizational leadership to QA programs and activities and establish the group as providing leadership and value-added services to the company.
This individual should possess a strong scientific and technical background, sufficient to establish credibility with senior management as well as the manufacturing and product development teams. In addition, this individual must be able to develop solutions to technical challenges and implement recommendations in a timely fashion.
Job Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years experience in increasingly complex quality assurance environment
- must have the ability to work within a matrix team environment
- must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- international experience preferred
- BS/BA required, life science preferred.
