Job Title: Manager/Senior Manager, Clinical Operations
Description:
The Manager/Senior Manager, Clinical Operations provides leadership in all aspects of clinical trial implementation, and operations activities for a given drug development program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for successful planning, implementation and oversight of clinical trial activities (Phase 1 -3)
- Sets schedules and performance standards for Clinical Operations team members
- Develops and monitors budgets, forecasts and resources for a drug development program
- Responsible for vendor management across a number of service providers in multiple disciplines
- Responsible for the growth and development of Clinical Operations Team members – including identifying, hiring, developing and retaining personnel
- Serve as primary liaison with internal functional departments
- Accountable for ensuring clinical operations deliverables meet expectations of senior management
Job Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in science/health related discipline, with 5-7 years direct clinical trial management experience, and 1-2 years demonstrated people management, interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
The candidate must have proven experience in forecasting, planning and budgeting for clinical trials. International experience preferred but not required. Significant experience in the management of CROs and allied service providers a must. Therapeutic experience in oncology a plus.
